Sorry for the delay on this weeks post I have had some troubles with the internet connection in my end of the world bunker and then I was also wondering if there was any point posting as all the people who'd normally read this would now be dead. But here is the second installment of the off season report I hope it finds you well and free from zombies wherever you are.
Buggers - Jangles
My apologies for not having a post last week we where all very busy recovering from our the final and working towards a new season. I personally considered having a few weeks of however I thought better of it and decided to push though my injuries. It is shaping up as a big summer for the Buggers with thrice weekly trainings. Early signs are good and we think we should be hitting peek fitness in time for round one.
UQ - BW
MVP! That is all.
Dojo - Ads
This weeks game against [insert team name] started out as a spiteful game. I don't think anyone personally should be blamed but at half time both captains managed to calm things down with their teams and it turned into quite a close encounter. The wind changed late in the game and that proved to be the difference with [insert team name] able to adapt quicker and get the upwind break which we were never able to peg back. We look forward to playing them again later in the season.

Cobras - Troy
Do you think that Donatello ever got annoyed that all the other turtles got cool weapons and he got a stick? This is a question that caused a series of events that nobody could have predicted for the Cobras, the tale of this won't be repeated at this time as I can't bear to go into all the details in full. However other things that happened this week for the Cobras were the new sponsorship campaign, a tender went out following the arrival of our new uniforms and there have been many people clambering to get a piece of the Cobras. It seems we might not have been too clear with our tender and possibly have gotten our distribution list a little bit off as much of what we received were girls attempting to get paid to go on a date with Dan, I was surprising but what can you do. Once we sorted through these we were left with a few promising leads, the front runner at this stage is our is the pride of Finland, Nokia. This was the big fish we hoped as they may not require much of an adjustment to our uniform. The next step in this process was the movie of the season that was, however we were suggested at the request of HBO to make a The Wire like series rather than just a one off movie. The most surprising part of this wasn't the suggestion as we know it is a great story that needs to reach a wider audience, but the first person who was asking to play the character of Finn. What we have been told is that this role represents a chance to break the typecasting that has been trapping him all throughout his career http://i.imgur.com/Y39WM.jpg and now he believes this roll will help escape this vicious cycle. We're hoping that a first draft of the pilot episode will be completed soon.
Heroes - George
Don't make me shush you again.
Blitz - No report
Slamtown - The Mayor
So I was looking through the season footage this week with a few of my team mates while we... well we were eating sandwiches. Anyway I noticed a new detail that I'm not sure if everyone has noticed in that footage just yet. Slamtown won.
