Off season report - Week 4

Another big week for all teams.

Slamtown - The Mayor

It has been a big week for the Slammers this week with most of the concentration being on rehabilitation.  I had work on my leg it is coming along well, dance moves are still limited but I think my other calf is getting bigger due to the extra work it is doing.  The other sweet part is I am now developing some sweet calicoes under my arms, most people would consider this a down side but I think it will be advantageous for wrestling.  Others in the recover group were Beiner with a broken fingernail, Griff with a knee scrape and Abra who just said I'm not training like a sucker while you guys get to sit around.  The rest of the team went for an extended beach run.

UQ - BW

MVP that is all.

Cobras - Troy

So I was walking the other day and I ran into Caleb, he said that there was an awesome thing about to happen he had just got the call from Wetnose.  We therefore rushed, I'm not saying ran or anything as I don't like to do that unless I have to for say sport or something.  Anyway so when we eventually got to this function it turns out that in his amazing genius Wetonse was celebrating that a new Bond movie had come out (Yeah he was really late on this) but when you combine this with the other co-founder his party title of "Licence to Kill" was just perfect.  Then upon arrival I saw a bowler hat and a tray of drinks, best use of Reece ever, he was a perfect Oddjob.  The next thing I saw seemed a lot like Man Baby except he seemed to have replaced his teeth with metal teeth, I'll be honest I like a good metal set of grills as much as the next man but it did make him look a lot like Jaws and I'm not saying that as a compliment themed party or not.  The two Dans had red shirts and threw knives, so good when twins dress up as twins, what a classic.  Finn was there but apparently he didn't understand the theme and came with his girlfriend as the power couple that is Mr and Mrs Khal Drogo.  The the theme music came on and all eyes turned to what looked like a cage ring that had been placed in the middle of the venue.  I suddenly spotted coming to the ring dressed in a tuxedo Rony, what a great Bond he was.  Then Wetnose came over and said to me "Do you know the time Bond fights a bear?"  I responded by saying "I've heard about it but I can't remember it."  He simply said "Well you're about to see it again."  Needless to say Rony is now more injured than they Mayor we are hoping for a quick recovery.

Buggers - Jangles

Good weak, injuries are improving although I did do too much training but that happens to everyone right?  Well probably the biggest news from Buggers this week is what I have already told you in the previous sentence.

Heroes - Seb

So Troy the big question that has come from the Heroes camp for the off season is about whether or not you have gotten your full dose of New Girl?  As rummer has it that you would choose watching that on TV over showing up to frisbee.  However all members of Heroes agreed that if that is how good it was then they would watch an episode as a New Years resolution.  George also said he would aim to be a little less quiet.

Bitz - Chris

So I don't think these are funny, however I am glad that I now have your email address so I can not participate personally.  I would like for my post to "Blitz didn't catch up this week as it is the off season."  That would be great.  Chris.

Dojo - Ads

The game was good this week with great spirit shown from both teams.  I don't believe that the scoreline was representative of the closeness of the game.  I think they will do much better on our next encounter.
[Use this post when you tear the other team a new one and don't want to say that they shouldn't play in the same competition as you.]
